7 Small Things You Can Do To Become A Better Person

1.Wake up happy
If your mornings feels like a rush, then it’s high chances you’re stressed on most days. Try to sleep earlier and wake up early to avoid all that negative energy in the morning. How you start the day will usually set your mood throughout the whole day.
Acknowledge the people around you by either smiling or saying “good morning”. This simple act will certainly help to boost not only your mood, but others around you too.
3.Be kind in little ways
Whether it’s helping someone with directions or holding the elevator door open, it’s little moments like this that can make a difference. It’s very easy to focus on yourself and rush off to where you’re going, but take time to help another person out too.
Spend a few minutes in the morning to plan out your day. Whether it’s jotting down a to do list or organizing your calendar, getting organized helps with you track out your day and helps your stress levels too!
5.Keep in touch with your loved ones
If you haven’t called your mom or dad yet, go right ahead and do that now! Everyone is so busy with their own lives that it’s easy to forget about your family. Even if it’s only 5 minutes, the thought definitely counts.
6.Promises are meant to be kept
If you say you’re going to do something, then stick to it. You say you’re gonna call someone back, then do it! Be sure to honour your word, your friends and loved ones would be grateful for that.
7. Shower others with thoughtful gifts
If you find an oppurtunity to put a smile on someone’s face, then go ahead and do it! Pick up an order of nasi lemak for your colleagues or send flowers to your special someone. It’s a small gesture but imagine the smile on their face!
