National Earth Day falls on 22nd April every year. We’ve come up with 7 simple things you can do to help reduce your environmental impact, save money and live a happier and healthier life.

1. Stop using disposable bags
Store a couple of reusable bags in your car for that impromptu grocery shopping. This way you wouldn’t need to spend on plastic bags.

2. Buy a water bottle
It’s always good to stay hydrated but every bottle of water purchased will generate large amounts of container waste. Buy a reusable water bottle and bring it everywhere you go!

3. Turn off all lights when you leave a room
Keep your room well lit by using sunlight to brighten up your home. Enjoy the natural light as long as you can without switching on the lights.

6. Eat one meat-less meal once a week
