5 Easy, Natural Ways to Lush Lashes

If eyes are the windows to the soul, does that mean eyelashes are the curtains?

Eyelashes play an important role in protecting our eyes, and they have also become an important beauty aspect. Instead of an eyelash curler, take a cotton swab and follow these directions for longer, fuller lashes!

1. Olive oil

Not just for cooking, olive oil also lengthens and protects eyelashes. It contains vitamins E and K, chlorophyll, and carotenoids. Because olive oil is heavy, only apply a few drops onto a cotton ball and then apply it to your lashes before you go to bed and remove in the morning. Wake up anew!

2. Aloe vera

Whether you choose to use aloe vera juice or flesh, both are beneficial in strengthening and nourishing hair as well as the skin. You can get an aloe vera plant and squeeze the gel out onto a cotton swab or other tools of your preference to apply before bed. Remember to wash with lukewarm water the next morning, and smell fresh all day.

3. Green tea

After a long day, unwind with some green tea. And then take a cotton ball and dip it in! Smearing green tea over your eyelashes will stimulate growth and even clean follicles. The tea also contains flavonoids, antioxidants that can make hair growth longer and thicker. So you probably don’t want to drink this tea after you used it.

4. Coconut oil

Coconutā —a beloved, national fruit with many uses. Eating, drinking, and even eyelashes! With a cotton swab, apply the oil on the upper and lower lash lines and leave it overnight. Be wary not to get the oil into your eye, and wash immediately if that occurs. Rinse in the morning, and feel how extra soft your eyelashes have become. Trust us, every single lash will look like it’s thick and gleaming.

5. Castor oil

Taken from the bean of a castor tree, this miracle hair growth ingredient is made up of fatty acids that are extremely beneficial to the skin and hair. There are many combinations that can be created with castor oil: almond oil, olive oil, lemon peels, glycerin and egg whites, and more. Mix whichever combination you’d like to try, and use a clean mascara wand or other tool to stroke those lashes. Your eyelids will also become softer and moisturised. After using castor oil for about 3 to 6 months will you see a significant change.
